My Review
In the beginning I had a hard time getting into the story as there were a lot of characters to get to know, we get to follow many POVs. Once I got to know the characters, it became easier to keep up with the story. I liked several of the characters very much, especially Scarlett's relationship with both Callan and Sorin!
The writing was good! Just the right length of chapters, simply written and easy to follow.
The story got going quickly after you got to know the different characters. I liked the way the author built up the mystery around Scarlett's background and where she came from. That everything is not given to us from the beginning but that it was woven into the story in a very good way. It made you want to keep reading! I had a hard time putting the book down once I was started! I also think the author does a good job of giving us the opportunity to get to know the side characters. Even though it is not their story we get to follow, we still get to know their actions and thoughts .
This book had in my opinion just the right amount of smut, fantasy, intrigue.
Looking forward to continue the series and to go back into this world.
